  Job Profile
  Excellent opportunities have arisen for an experienced CNC Machinist (CNC Turner) looking to join a progress and forwarding thinking company who are specialists in Subcontract Manufacturing & Aerospace Precision Machined parts & components.

  The role consists of multi-machine manning, Setting Operating MillTurn CNC Lathes (live tooling).

  Responsibilities:

  • CNC Turning, Operating OR Setting Operating CNC MillTurn Mazak Integrex Lathes.
  • Multi-Machine Manning.
  • Changing offsets, datums and machine tool setting.
  • Producing parts and components for the Aerospace sector, working with Aerospace grade Steels and Aluminium.
  • Batches range from 1 offs up to 100s off, depending on customer requirements.
  • Machining to tight tolerances and the components being hand sized (ave 3” to 4” dia).

  Skills & Attributes:

  • CNC Turning experience is a must.
  • Setting Operating CNC Lathes, ideally with MillTurn (CNC Lathes with live tooling / milling capabilities)
  • Able to man and operate multiple Machines at a time.
  • Programming experience would be an advantage but not essential.

  Hours of Work:

  • 39hrs per week.
  • Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4pm, 3pm finish Friday.
  • Overtime available, paid at x1.25hr weekdays, x1.5hrs Saturday.
