Job ProfileDue to continued growth and investment in state-of-the-art CNC technology, we are looking for a meticulous and experienced CNC Machinist (Tool Setter) to join our team.As the ideal candidate, you will be detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to manage tooling efficiently to ensure seamless production processes.The role involves setting and preparing tools for CNC machines, maintaining organisation in the tool-setting area, and ensuring tools are ready for production in a timely manner.You will also be responsible for maintaining and managing tooling equipment. Duties & Responsibilities: Setting tools in holders as per tooling setup sheets. Breaking down tools upon job completion. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the tool-setting area. Ensuring tool holders are cleaned and in good working order. Managing workload efficiently to meet production demands. Ordering tooling supplies as needed. Preparing raw materials for machining processes. Maintaining vices and other workshop equipment. Skills & Experience: Strong organisational and housekeeping skills. Excellent attention to detail. Prior experience in CNC Operating and/or Tool Setting, and an understanding of different cutting tools, drills, and insert tools. Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM). Overtime available (regular 5 to 10+ hours per week, paid at x1.5).
