Elliott started his career in recruitment in 2003 as a Mechanical & Electrical Recruiter in London (UK), working permanent roles for clients across the city.

Elliott started his career in recruitment in 2003 as a Mechanical & Electrical Recruiter in London (UK), working permanent roles for clients across the city.
He then moved into the Logistics sector within the Temporary Recruitment space, becoming a “top biller” in the company. After 2 years, he was promoted to Operations Manager managing 3 branches across the business, one being a Start Up branch that turned a profit after just 6 weeks and grew to be one of the most successful in the business.
Fast forward to 2012, when he and his business partner started their own recruitment business within Advanced Manufacturing & Precision Engineering which grew to be one of the UK’s leading agencies in this sector servicing 80+ live vacancies each month, which he brought into the company.
In 2019, he decided to invest in Bolt-On Personnel to build a legacy and train talented individuals to become top billers in their own right across different verticals, being a “Recruiter of Choice” for a large portfolio of Candidates and Clients.
Elliott's Characteristics
Elliott has a real passion and flair for developing and training consultants, taking pride in understanding each individual within his business.
Being a strong believer in the “Servant Management” style, he promotes diversity and inclusion to best understand his staff enabling him to serve his team better.
Coupled with being a very “hands on” recruiter, developing key accounts and forging client / candidates relationships, he is able to make educated commercial & operational decisions which are best suited for the company and the team, leading by example.
Being a progressive leader, he has implemented a fully integrated state-of-the-art tech stack, combined with a number of extremely powerful data tools with Ai & Machine Learning, built out robust and streamlined processes, whilst ensuring a personable human touch is always applied through each and every stage of the recruitment process.
This allows both himself and his team to recruit for more clients, place more candidates and perform more tasks in a much more efficient and effective way, putting Bolt-On Personnel way ahead of the competition being a true “Best in Class” recruitment partner to both Candidates and Client alike.
Elliott is not shy of telling the occasional “Dad joke” which makes him laugh (and often his team – hopefully!).

He enjoys working hard, but promotes having fun doing it, enjoying the journey that both he and his team is on.
Professionalism is always at the top of his list, but equally enjoys the banter from the team.
Being a strong believer in trust and dedication, he is always available for his team when needed and enjoys seeing his team succeed.
